My Inner Brandi
“How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something, but to be someone”~Coco Chanel.
When I started in the home based business industry almost two years ago, I was under the impression that I had to talk the talk and walk the walk of a sales professional. Well, guess what? I tried it for 8 months and it didn’t work!!! As I said before, I am by far a sales woman!
During a Dani Johnson training I was told to be myself. I thought yeah right, I am not a professional, I have no college degree, no credentials…I can’t be myself! But with nothing to lose I figured I would try it, after all I felt I was pretty good at rehabbing people, showing them the light at the end of the tunnel…being myself!
At that moment I decided to build my business like I was still rehabbing patients, instead of rehabbing my patients to better health through physical therapy, I rehabbed them to better health through Uri’s whole food nutritional products and by providing them with useful information!
I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders when I stopped selling, stopped acting like a networker and just submitted to my inner Brandi.
The Brandi that enjoys to make people laugh, that has no credentials, no college education, who can’t spell if her life depended on it, who’s kids are the reason why she is proud of her accomplishments and her ability to live by her own rules!
Cheers to Being You!

Business, Personal Growth, Self Improvement | Comments (4)Food of the Week: Mangoes
Did you know that more Mangoes are eaten fresh all over the world than any other fruit? I sure didn’t, as I recently discovered the this fine fruit just two short months ago! June is actually prime Mango season due to the wide variety of growth during this summer month.
An average sized Mango can contain up to 40% of your daily fiber requirement. Which studies show dietary fiber has a protective effect against degenerative disease, may help prevent certain types of cancer as well as lower blood cholesterol levels.
This mouth watering fruit is rich in antioxidants, potassium and fiber plus they are low in calories, fat and sodium. I can’t believe it took me 25 years to try this delectable passion fruit!
For more information I recommend visiting http://mango.org where you can find tips on How to Select and Store Mangoes.
I am still fairly new to mixing fruits with my veggies, especially sweet and spicy, but OMG you’ve got to try this recipe!!!

Health, Marketing, Natural Remedies | Comments (2)Do You Care About What You Eat?
It repulsive what these big wig corporations do to the minds of innocent people…all in the name of profit!
With all of the medical advances why are we in the midst of so much disease?
As our environment becomes more toxic you find more and more people having immune system dysfunctions and new strands of resilient bacteria everywhere.
Why?
God hasn’t done this to us, we have done this to ourselves. We fill our bodies with fake processed everything these days all because it is more convenient. This is the food our bodies are using to recreate themselves…I never knew it was more convenient to kill myself!
To put this in perspective, did you know that the average American eats about 8lbs of preservatives a year in processed foods? Let’s put that into even more of a perspective; research has shown that dead bodies take longer to decompose now-a-days and that has been attributed to those aforementioned preservatives.
I know that’s an unpleasant thought, but some times we need to get down to the nitty gritty before we make a change! We need to educate ourselves on what is really going on with our food supply before it is too late and we end up another dead carcass that won’t decompose!
If you care at all, watch the video above to educate yourself on the matter.
To True Optimal Health!
