Personal Growth | Comments (4)The Music in You
A dear friend, Alex Zoltai and I were talking the other day about the importance of music. While I am musically challenged when it comes to playing an instrument or worse singing, I love listening to music.
“I have my own particular sorrows, loves, delights; and you have yours. But sorrow, gladness, yearning, hope, love, belong to all of us, in all times and in all places. Music is the only means whereby we feel these emotions in their universality.” ~H.A. Overstreet
I listen while I work, cook, clean, drive…you name it the music is blaring! It soothes me to know that whatever feeling I have at the moment I can turn on the radio and I will be guaranteed to hear a song that fits that very emotion. It’s as though it was meant to be, God’s way of reminding me that I am not alone.
I’ve noticed most of my favorite songs all have something to do with moving on…hmmmmm. At this point in my life, I feel I best relate to Jewels Stronger Woman. The song is about becoming your best friend, trusting yourself, and letting go of those bringing you down.
As my regular readers know being at one with myself is a new concept to me, one that I am striving to master. Though I am very thick-headed when it comes to asking for help, I have always looked for others for acceptance, love, and gratitude.
Loving me for me was bound to happen eventually and since my evolution has taken place I truly am enjoying becoming the woman I would like my daughter to be~
What music best describes you?

Personal Growth | Comments (1)Do You Care About What You Eat?
It repulsive what these big wig corporations do to the minds of innocent people…all in the name of profit!
With all of the medical advances why are we in the midst of so much disease?
As our environment becomes more toxic you find more and more people having immune system dysfunctions and new strands of resilient bacteria everywhere.
Why?
God hasn’t done this to us, we have done this to ourselves. We fill our bodies with fake processed everything these days all because it is more convenient. This is the food our bodies are using to recreate themselves…I never knew it was more convenient to kill myself!
To put this in perspective, did you know that the average American eats about 8lbs of preservatives a year in processed foods? Let’s put that into even more of a perspective; research has shown that dead bodies take longer to decompose now-a-days and that has been attributed to those aforementioned preservatives.
I know that’s an unpleasant thought, but some times we need to get down to the nitty gritty before we make a change! We need to educate ourselves on what is really going on with our food supply before it is too late and we end up another dead carcass that won’t decompose!
With a stepper or a good set of treadmills, one can achieve fitness in no time at all. A kettler is for those serious in building body.
If you care at all, watch the video above to educate yourself on the matter.
To True Optimal Health!
